What is the Professional Development Programme?

PULSE-ART PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The Professional Development Programme (PDP) is a training tool designed to help educators, cultural practitioners, and facilitators to design and deliver inclusive, arts-based learning processes that enhance Cultural Awareness and Expression (CAE).

This six-module training is based on the Competence Framework and supports the development of the Educator Competences (E1–E5) to effectively apply artistic methodologies and foster CAE among learners (Learner Competences: L1–L4).

The PDP aims to

• Strengthen inclusive, arts-based pedagogical skills.
• Encourage reflective and culturally responsive teaching.
• Support the design, facilitation, and evaluation of meaningful artistic learning experiences.
• Advance interdisciplinary, intercultural, participatory, and dialogic learning approaches.

Note: According to the proficiency levels of the Competency Framework, the PDP is particularly recommended for users with Self-Reflection Tool results under level 3 (Advanced) or 4 (Expert).
